  2. So France has been bombing the shit out of ISIS positions for over a week now. Positions we knew about, but wouldn't hit because of collateral of damage. Okay, did all the collateral damage just disappear? You know there has to be some civilians laying in the rubble. Why no pictures? Why no coverage of this? Where is the leftist media? You can bet your last buck if these raids were being carried a out by U.S. planes, we'd see wall to wall coverage of dead women and children. Just curious.

    OBAMA DROPPED LEAFLETS TO GIVE
    ISIS 45 MIN WARNING BEFORE
    BOMBING
"to kind of shoo people away without harming them."
    November 22, 2015 Daniel Greenfield

The worst part is that this is Obama's version of an "escalation". He could have taken out ISIS tanker trucks a long time ago, but then the drivers would have died. (Via J.E. Dyer)

"In Al-Bukamal, we destroyed 116 tanker trucks, which we believe will reduce ISIL's ability to transport its stolen oil products," Warren said. "This is our first strike against tanker trucks, and to minimize risks to civilians, we conducted a leaflet drop prior to the strike. We did a show of force, by -- we had aircraft essentially buzz the trucks at low altitude."

The leaflets, which fluttered to the ground about 45 minutes before the strikes, simply said: "Get out of your trucks now, and run away from them. Warning: airstrikes are coming. Oil trucks will be destroyed. Get away from your oil trucks immediately. Do not risk your life."

"We combine these leaflet drops with very low altitude passes of some of our attack aviation, which sends a very powerful message," the colonel added.

He said the decision to drop warnings came after they "assessed that these trucks, while although they are being used for operations that support ISIL, the truck drivers, themselves, probably not members of ISIL; they're probably just civilians."

"So we had to figure out a way around that. We're not in this business to kill civilians, we're in this business to stop ISIL -- to defeat ISIL."

Thus, they tried to come up with a strategy "to kind of shoo people away without harming them."

Fact is that Odumbo only wants to look like he's trying defeat ISIL while all along promoting everything Islam... including their violence, rapes and murders.

A strategy doomed to failure considering we're fighting an enemy that embeds itself among the civilian population and/or uses forced conscription of those civilians into their "army".
No way to keep your hands clean in this fight, not that there ever is, but this one is extra messy. The leftist solution is a pretend to fight while not actually accomplishing anything. IOW, all show, no substance. Gee, no surprise that an empty suit like Obama would come up with such a strategy?

Indiscriminately killing civilians just makes the problem worse. There are righties here who think we should stay out of this ME mess entirely, perhaps leaving Islam to do the dirty work of cleaning up its radical fundamentalists. What do you think, leave 'em alone, or US boots on the ground en masse?

  8. I knew some guys that grew up in Russia. They told me that when the troubles started with the muzzies the army pulled up and proceeded to kill everyone of them they could.

Obama could have bombed a few of the trucks every day until nobody would drive them, then he could have blown up the rest of the gear. He could put boots on the ground to take ISIS' oil wells too. He doesn't do shit because he works for the UN, they dictate his policies. He will be the Secretary General of the UN after he runs out the clock on his term. It's not complicated.

  10. Depends. You want to solve the problem or just drag it out until they get an actual WMD, hope for some solution before then? Waiting doesn't cost us all that many casualties, until it does. When, not if, when it happens the body count will be astronomical.
You want to address it head on right now? No less than 500,000 troops in many different countries. It's WW III for sure.
The fight is coming, just a matter of when. Like I keep saying, there's no easy way out.
