    Ok, thanks.

And what do they mean by :
"Phone call with Funding Department to discuss your trading plan."

    Is it a critical interview?
I am from france. Is it a problem ?

I had the chat a few years ago. Assuming it's the same now,you just have to state your basic strategy for placing trades. At that point you are already selected, they just want some one with a plan.

No; but understandably enough they like to verify people's identities and to hear their voice, before giving them a funded account. They have funded traders all over the world.

(I think probably they have a legal obligation to verify people's identities, actually, at some stage.)

    Ok. Thanks.
    Sounds all right.
    I'll prepare a song.
    They'll then say, OMG,
This is the Voice ! Oh Yeah.
    Thanks Xela for your diligence.

    Very wise.

If it doesn't do the trick, you can always re-use it for next year's Eurovision Song Contest: it can only be an improvement on this year's offerings. :)

  8. I used the CTS while trading prior combines, it's a decent platform and quite functional. It took a few "fat finger" mistakes before I got used to it, so my recommendation is to go through the video tutorials before placing a trade.

Regarding fees, my understanding is you will pay $25/month if you want their charts (only for the LIVE account, the charts in the combine are free). I use TOS charts however I'd probably go with CTS charts as a backup. They also have a webtrader and mobile version, at a reduced cost than the desktop.

In the live account, you also pay the $85/month "professional" data fees.

You can review the prices for CTS and CME here:

    Thanks for the information.
From TST funded account fees link,
    https://topsteptrader.desk.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1971631-funded-account-fees
I can see that they charge 1$ RT for CTS.
That is the transactional way to pay for it.

Actually you got to choose the minimum.
As you said. It's either 25$ (Basics) or 200$ (Advanced).

    Which corroborate with that link,
they say T4 is "free" (No monthly Costs).
    https://topsteptrader.desk.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2283497-platform-comparison

Actually I use X_Trader as my main plateform.
But they don't provide it. So maybe I'll use NT for execution.
Then do everything else with X_trader. Got to see what's cheaper.
CTS T4 because I use mainly the DOM. Use no special charting.
It's said that the best DOM among these platform is CTS.
However 85$ a month for the data is EXPENSIVE.
That's what it takes to be a pro XD ...

  10. Nice find on the Funded Trader pricing fees. Look at the costs as fixed plus variable. The fixed costs with CTS is $25/month (plus the $85 per exchange). If you trade CL, it will cost $4.92 per contract round turn. So the monthly variable costs depends on the # of contracts traded.

    Other benefits include:

    1. No license required
    2. OCO orders held ON SERVER SIDE, unlike NT (unless you get the add on feature for $60/month to hold NT orders on a server)
    3. CTS also provides the data

Regarding the $85, you're considered a "professional" trader even though you're trading a backed account. It's the same b.s. with equities prop firms, where you have to pay "professional" rates for data because you are a licensed trader. With TST, you don't even need the Series 3, but you're still considered "a professional trader."
