Bleh, I suppose you've seen by now the stories that he wants to return by the playoffs after his nouveau surgery. How do you feel about that? Feeling like Mr. Horse?
It is an interesting set up. Let's say the Jets do make it to the play offs, and Aaron is ready to come back by January. If you are the coach, what would you do? Do you let your young QB keep going who obviously hot and deserves it, or do you risk the franchise QB an early reinjury, instead of a nice, year long healing? Same thing if they do get a free agent QB, who takes them to the play offs.
It seems like what happened in Romo's last season. Dallas could have played Romo in the playoff game but went with Prescott instead. Romo was pretty brittle by then so one big hit and he would've gone down. I think Rodgers can make a comeback but he'll probably be like Peyton towards the end -- not mobile at all with short passes.
