One time - right click on the shortcut and select "Run as Administrator". Permanently - right click on the shortcut and select properties. I think on "Compatibility" tab, on the bottom, there is a checkbox to "Run this program as an administrator". This is only needed for QT to get around the various security features of Windows that have been added since QT was originally written. Not needed for MT.`

Hi Jerry, Got to live with QT until you have alerts done on MT. With IB, due to high commissions I generate my api symbol limit is over 500. I just enterd over 100 symbols in qt and it gives me a warning that limit is 100 and the list will be trimmed. My question, " Since my ib limit is over 500, is qt stll limiting me to 100 symbols?" If yes, very long time ago you gave me a custom ib patch, I need a solution.
QT limit would be 100 for IB. I don't have any patch right now. That does remind me to put in some sort of override for the limit in MT.
