Here's a chart depicting the fed deciding when to raise rates. Do you think this might be by design? Maybe they wanted to wait until there were signs the economy was rolling over, then raise rates, and then three months later the krugmans of the world can say that the austrians in his field pushed the fed into another 1937! It's all coming together.
