If You Had To Choose Only 3 Technical Analysis Indicators...

Discussion in 'Technical Analysis' started by Shiraz Lakhi, Oct 27, 2014.

  1. Trend is described by 3 parameters: price volume and volatility. It is logical for full analysis to analyze all of them

    1. for price: SMI or TSI
    2. for volume: Selling/Buying Volume Flow or MV Money Flow
    3. for Volatility: ATR

You shouldn't have to RELY on any indicators to tell you whether price is this or that

What if I WANT to rely on an indicator? Because it allows me to automate my trading strategy and free up time for other things? Because it allows me to look at dozens or even hundreds of different instruments rather than just a handful?

I get it: you tried indicators and they didn't work for you. Sorry about that. That doesn't mean indicators don't work for anybody, especially for those of us who took the time and trouble to develop our own and not rely on the cookbook formulas.
