You do realize that it was the REPUBLICANS in U.S history that put drove the concept of free public schools for all citizens, eh?

You do realize that the U.S. child labor amendment and child labor laws were driven by REPUBLICANS in the early 1920s - Specifically by Congressman Foster a Republican from Ohio.

And you do realize that Republicans are not now what they were a century ago . . .

Do you realize the Democrats are not what they are a century ago? Except that they still ran KKK members as candidates for state offices in 2010 and 2012... maybe not much has changed.

Trying to claim at any point in history that Republicans supported child labor, harsh factory conditions with long hours, slavery, or opposed free public education is absurd.

The Democrats traditionally supported child labor, harsh factory conditions with long hours, and slavery while opposing free public education for most of the party's history.
