  1. A stop placed at entry is based on the conditions AT ENTRY. Conditions change.

You move stops all the time once in the $

If stops are fixed, immutable objects, why do you change them so often??

I move them. I do not REmove them.

  3. Semantics. Moving them is REMOVING them to another location.

Removing is removing, moving is moving.

  5. The outcome is the same...the initial stop is no longer relevant because conditions have changed. The stop is modified based on new information.

Stops are only moved in the direction of the trade. They are never removed.

Let's face it. Stop placement is the most difficult aspect of trading. This is likely the number one reason that people will not post stops. Stop placement is most generally wrong and no one wants to be wrong.

It is also likely the number one reason that people remove stops ie they don't want to be wrong.

  10. GOOD stops are hard to place. Good TARGETS are equally hard to place. Once in money on a trade, where to get out? Great, I'M in the money, close out trade, feel good. Feel smart :cool:Till it runs 3X further, in MY direction!!! now, feel stupid, got out too soon?

Stops & Targets are both hard. Stops & targets = trading. ipso facto, trading is hard:D

You single out STOPS as hardest...not so sure about that. It's ALL hard
