The Roman Empire became Christian after the Roman Empire had expanded. b. You know that Christianity spread within its territory in spite of the sword not with it. c. You also know that the Muslims invaded, conquered, raped and looted lands far outside of "Arab" lands. You just seem to be trolling your ass off... what is your point stu? are you arguing the Muslims were motivated to return Arab lands to arabs and that they were also motivated by jihad and jizya. If so at the time of the attack please state who was in control and what the motivation was and if the land was arab.

Integral to your ridiculous notion is a hand waving away of all conflicts, war and aggression Imperial Rome had started and christian Byzantine Rome perpetuated by first invading and then holding on to the East 700 years before any Islam or muslims were even thought of at all. It's that simple. You want to shift all blame for everything from christians (you) to muslims (them) as if history hadn't started before muslims got their own ideas of empire or whatever. We have just requested you provide some support for your vague argument. On the other thread I simply said the Christians did not start it. Db said neither did the Muslims. All we ask is support for that thesis. Maybe DB is right... we just want the argument and the support.
