Any successful intraday Dax traders here?

  1. Have used Sierra and found it very good. All my market profile and orderflow templates are in Ninja and to convert is such a huge job its easier to stay with Ninja especially since Ninja 8 is in beta and due for a full release shortly, so best i stick with it. Plus I think Ninja's order management is better. But Sierra coding is better.

Have done a bit of volume analysis on the emini Nikkei and it trades similar to the ES. At present am trying to build a down under day trading portfolio.

What are the differences between Ninja 7 and 8? I have not used in number of years but wondering if they corrected many of the bugs.

  3. There are quite a few things in relation to daily close bars, whether done by tick or last closing prices. N8 is on last closing prices. And with N7 its single thread so uses alot od cpu when back testing in live markets, however N8 is multi-thread and performs better. The other thing is the contract roll over whereas N7 you need to perform this yourself and in N8 its auto.

I'm sure there are far better people and internet sites that can verify any of your questions. I'm a trader, not a tech, even though these days it seems more and more you need to be both.

  4. One trade so far tonight. Could have made alot more if i hadn't moved my stop on the 2nd contract so fast.

  5. DAX opens tonight below a major support zone at 9759.48 zone. Be looking to sell on moves higher. The more time it spends below support the more valid the break will be.

  9. Was stopped so fast. Huge mistake. Had a higher low 9570, should have pulled the order then.
