OK, thanks. I try to get your stuff, but really have to mull it over - so that it's intuitive. I was just typing my atticus story.
So, anywho, I've only followed two trades in my career - both from atticus - a long time ago. I'll start with the 2nd one, but the 1st one was more important to me. The 2nd trade was a calendar. Atticus said free money. I liked the sound of that. Got in low 17s near ATM - 2 lot. The UL tanked but the calendar performed remarkably well dropping to about 16. When the UL rallied I was able to get out in the low 19s for about a $400 net profit. Thanks, atticus. But the first trade was more about character. It was a short IC. My style - shoot for the wings. I forget size. But the UL bounced around the center and the position was soon down several hundred. Finally, it moved toward the call wing and I was able to get out at less than a $20 net profit. The next day the position was up several hundred - and it got even better after that. I felt like an idiot for not holding, but congrats to atticus anyways. He said that he took the loss. He didn't have to admit that. It was all PM. Now that's integrity. No bullshit games like you see around here so much. I found that I was uncomfortable with someone else's trades. There's a certain feel you get for your own stuff - win or lose - that you don't have when you just follow someone else's lead.
Sell 200s at 200.15. I still like the long side, but try a little maneuvering here to reduce cost basis.
