I have come to realize that the amount of debt this nation is in doesn't matter anymore, even if that was $28 trillion or $145 trillion or even $290 trillion, it doesn't make a difference, I used to think wow look at the amount of debt were in but it seems the higher it goes the less it matters.....there hasn't been one thought from anyone at the top to even take notice of this or even come up with ways to eliminate future debts....no one cares and that's the way it will be for a long long time.....

yes, I think we figured that out a long time ago, the debt will never get paid off and just keep going up

just like I bought my first house for 70k, now a kid graduates with 70k in student loan debt, it's all relative, money has no meaning. How much is an ounce of gold worth? or for that matter a barrel of crude? Or for that matter a dollar?

Size of debt does not matter as long as you can service the debt - low interest rates help.

Of importance is the US is able to use the debt to make more than the debt costs. Being the strongest military and the dollar being the world's reserve currency also gives US more leeway with debt.

Of course, the debt was up nearly 70% under Bush as well, so . . .

it's going to be a real bitch when after about 6 years Hillary needs to start servicing the debt

what will she talk about to the common people?

sorry folks, the republicans were right, we finally ran out of money

get out there and start making some

Cause Lord knows we need it

    and the EPA aint helping

bitch and bitch and bitch and more bitch
    7 trillion or 17 trillion
my heat will not be any warmer in the winter
my a/c will not be any colder in the summer
I will always have enough to eat
I doubt the cops will arrest me for indecent exposure because I don't have enough clothes to wear in public

bitch and bitch and bitch, that's all you do

you have become the party of bitchers

and it's not one side or the other, both sides are nothing but bitchers, that's all they do, get in front of a tv camera and bitch

when was the last time you saw a candidate do anything but bitch?

but yes, I feel less secure because my debt is now 17 trillion instead of the measly 7 trillion it use to be

7 trillion really isn't that bad, I liked it when that's all it was, maybe it's just me, but it seemed like at 7 trillion my heat was warmer in the winter

at anyrate, according to modern monetary theory, the debt is meaningless, we can create as much money as we need, the only constraint being inflation.

Ah yes, since Bush did it, it's ok that Obama did it. You people are retards. It never occurred to you that both Presidents were twits?
