Had to make a new thread about this, as I may save some of you guys an issue if you're dating, and your gal likes looking at your phone for the typical female reasons.. Last night, my gf and I were in the spa, and she's asking me to turn the jets down so she can see the stars, and talk. Oh boy..
She asks, "you didn't used to use your spa to lure women in did you?" Well, when we first met, I sent her a clip of "what she's missing" with the pool, and spa. After we get out of the spa, and later, laying in bed, watching tv before sleep, she gets "bored," and wants to check out my phone which is IDENTICAL to hers.. Yeah, ok.
After her looking around for just a few minutes, she pulls up a VIDEO CLIP of one I sent to a gal last year; long before we had met, as I don't mess around if I have a gal. Worse, the clip was taken with an IPHONE, NOT a Samsung Galaxy S5! Wors(er), I used a different email to send the clip, and hadn't used that email a single time with my new phone. She has the identical phone thanks to my dumb ass, and obviously knows her way around it.
I had looked at every single place in this new phone for anything that she may not like, and this was NOT there three months ago, when I got the phone! It wasn't there last week! I've not seen that clip in a year, haven't used that email, and just no! I don't understand this at all! I'm also finding that my phone (as much as I like it), is MUCH TOO SMART! I could go on all day about what this thing does in terms of storing stuff..
Just wanted to warn you guys. I don't mean this to warn would be cheaters, as I have no respect for that. However, I do want to warn those who may be dating a newer gal, and may have some older pics, or videos that would NOT BE A TIMELY THING FOR YOUR NEW GAL TO STUMBLE ACROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek:She's ok with it, but the timing, and how it all happened... And IF I were a cheater, I would have been busted in a NY minute, so guys take note. I'm all about technology, and love this phone, plus other electronics that make life nice, but this just wasn't cool at all! I was "splaining" til' 0130, and just damn...:(

Oh, and I forgot to mention, she even found a newsletter from when I was an Investment Advisor. Yeah, that newsletter was from 2008! And of course, hadn't tried to access that email on my new phone. Hadn't tried to access it in three years! Unreal!
Don't have facebook, no twitter, and cancelled linkedin long before getting this phone. IMO, these phones are awesome, but too smart! Fair warning to you guys and gals in the dating world....

I'm curious if a red flag goes up in your head about your girlfriend's insecurity considering she wanted to through your phone out of boredom in the first place.

Oh yes. All of this started when a gal from my gym showed up, and left a damned note on HER car that was addressed to me. She knew what she was doing, and I told her no from the get go when a friend of mine was with her friend, etc,. Instead, she decided to put a note on my gf's car in the middle of the night... I've not done anything out of the way as I couldn't face myself (did it once long ago- 15 years before her, and just never again), but I would be the same way myself, I guess.
And I do have to say, I'm shocked at just what this device is able to find from long ago. I'm gonna stop at the Verizon store in a few mins, and ask anyone there who owns one of these to make sure there's nothing else in the silly thing that could cause me to have to explain anything else. AND, just what do I have to do, and where do I need to look to make sure nothing else from the past pops back into the phone.
Last, keep your Note 3 Baron. It's a good one! I've already replaced my gf's phone after a mere 3 weeks of owning it. Screen went out, and they said a minor scratch that takes a flashlight to see, voided the warranty.:(
Am actually considering buying a note 3, and getting rid of the S5. I've met many with problems with the S5, and NONE with problems with the Note 3. And you should have seen her old Galaxy before the S5! Damn! Dropped on every surface, in water many times needing to dry out for days, but right back on, etc., When I put her sim card from the new broken phone into the old galaxy, it worked like always. Probably should have bought her the Note 4, but Note 3 owners were screaming NO, as theirs is still the epitome of durable, and functional. Ideas?

You can't go wrong with the Note 3 or the Note 4. A few of my friends have the Note 4 and they love it. My Note 3 was pretty much trashed so I switched over to the HTC One M8. It's the size of your S5 for the most part and the build quality is outstanding. The camera is great too and the user reviews are stellar. So if you're in the market for a new phone at any point, include that one in your research for sure.

All my toys have passwords including my PC, GF has no access to anything for a damn good reason!!

Yes I cheat all the time, stupid not to really, I just find sex to be a big deal so not an issue to me.

it sync with your email automatically. My new phone auto load 'all' email addresses from my gmail account and listed them as contacts, took me all day to get rid of them. Remember to turn off auto sync feature.

  10. My experience is that it isn't insecurity, per se. Rather, it's an overwhelming desire to know everything about you, especially any *secrets* you may have. The cynical part of me says they datamine their SO and retain all the *info* to use against you later on...

Question is, why didn't he have the lockscreen set? From what I've gathered elsewhere, LEO can't break the pattern lockscreen (yet).... I have it set on both the phone and Handcent..
