Poll Finds Most in U.S. Hold Dim View of Race Relations
    http://www.nytimes.com/2015/07/24/us/poll-shows-most-americans-think-race-relations-are-bad.html

A new New York Times/CBS News poll reveals that nearly six in 10 Americans, including heavy majorities of both whites and blacks, think race relations are generally bad and that nearly four in 10 think the situation is getting worse.

By comparison, two-thirds of Americans surveyed shortly after President Obama took office said they believed that race relations were generally good.

Bottom Line: Race relations in the U.S. have deteriorated badly under Obama - I lay the blame directly at his administration. His support of thugs and criminals over victims and police is the entire cause of this. His promotion of false narratives ("Hands up, don't shoot", "Trayvon could have been my son", etc.) while riots tore up communities has driven race relations to the lowest point since the 1970s.

  2. "Race relations" have deteriorated because certain elements could not come to terms with the fact that they have a black president, and felt they needed to make their presence known. They have treated President Obama with an unprecedented lack of respect. To blame Obama is complete and utter nonsense. But it is the modus operandi.

    So true.

    It has been the economy.

Like the left didn't treat Bush with a unprecedented lack of respect.

However race relations were at a all time high under Bush. Care to come up with reasonable explanation of why they deteriorated under Obama so badly - besides the fictitious narrative that white racists could not come to terms with having a black president.

You and the other leftest fringe have been telling us for years how greatly the economy improved under Obama.

If a poor race relations are due to a bad economy --- then your continual assertions that Obama has done complete miracles for the economy is a fable.

  6. No, I think that about covers it. On balance, Bush was treated far better by his critics, all else being equal, even when you factor in the crazy outliers on both sides.

Can you provide an example of a single action by President Obama and his administration that has served to improve race relations? Not one, eh? I thought not.

  8. You don't need a poll to know that race relations have plummeted under obama and that he and his administration are the reason. He and his officials, particularly former AG Eric Holder, played the race card at every conceivable opportunity. Knowing they were in trouble in the 2014 mid term elections, they rolled out an all out attack by the racial grievance industry to try to get blacks out to vote. This included fomenting riots over minor local issues and trying to paint a bogus picture of a peaceful and oppressed black population being preyed upon by racist cops.

Their efforts have largely backfired. Seeing black rioters throwing garbage cans at people trying to eat dinner before a ball game will do that.
