I am sick of my retail broker always freezing when I need it to perform most.

I want a broker who a pro trader would use, having been extremely profitable for over a year I am at my wits end with these bucket shop brokers.

The main issue is when a large move in price is occuring my broker will freeze for about a minute, i won't get quotes can't place orders stops etc.

I am not in the US so I can take advantage of worldwide brokers.

I do a lot of short term plays so I need access to speed and great execution.

  2. what you call a broker is generally considered a criminal organization domiciled most likely in Cyprus or Russia. Care to share who your broker is?

Fxcm uk works fine for me, none of the above issues and your not taking there money so they shouldnt care if you make stacks.

I've been trading fx almost exclusively for years with ib. They charge something like .0002% commission, so it is in their best interest to keep spreads as tight as possible, and system available and you trading at all times.
no kidding, I've been with ib for years and trading fx exclusively for the last 5. If they ever quit trading fx I also will quit trading fx. I suppose if you are really big you could find a deal you like better, but I'm just a small retail trader and I don't know what more you could ask for.

  6. FXCM without similar issue? Are you stand up comedian? FXCM invented currency scamming in its various forms.

IC markets they are from Australia, they have been great for for everything else except the occasional freezing. I know they don't scam me because I get slipped in my favour as much as against.

Didn't they get bailed out after the CHF move, I don't want to be with a broker who can go under so easily.

  10. IB is without question the cheapest way for retail clients that do not trade large positions. If you clear less than 100 million a month usd equivalent I would not know of a better broker than IB.
