I Get The Sense Whites Are Trying To "Get Over" The Remnants Of Their Racial Past

  1. However, blacks stoke the fires of racialism for their own perceived benefits.

And did you get this sense twice?

  3. The truth is that blacks NEED racism. When they go out there and squander opportunity, they need to be able to blame it on the color of their skin instead of blaming themselves. Don't believe for one millisecond that blacks want racial equality (actually, they have it, but not their idea which I'll explain in a moment). They either want one or two things. 1) They wanna be in a position of power in order to oppress whites (this is black's real meaning of "racial equality") or 2) They wanna be lazy, receive handouts and when they don't get their way...blame racism.

Don't be fooled, they need racism...which is why they try so hard to convince others that it exists.

BTW, let me clear something up. The word "racism" as it used today is actually incorrect. Racism is simply the belief that one race is superior to another...another form of bigotry and prejudice. Therefore, you will never end racism because people will always be bigoted and hold prejudices. Grownups don't let bigoted people get to them. On the other hand, when you attempt to keep someone down through a system of some sort, that is called oppression. To base this system on race is called Racially Motivated Oppression. Blacks and liberals have purposely made racism and "racially-motivated oppression" synonymous terms because to define racism by it's true definition would expose the truth that blacks are the most racist people on the planet.

  4. Where I grew up, there were few blacks... even in the military. But I always made friends of them.

Now days, however, I feel more dislike, distrust and fear of blacks (in general) than ever... perhaps in the same vein as I generally fear muslims.

Sad to feel that way in America.

But to answer your question, whites have nothing to get over since the "racial past" is not a remnant. Based on the posts here with regard to this event, it is very much with us. And it will remain with us for the foreseeable future. At least until whites learn to treat people of other races and ethnic groups as well as they treat their own. And the likelihood of that is slim.

Maybe whites would treat blacks (because that's what this is about, whites don't have issues treating asians - for example - as equals) with respect if blacks (in general) were deserved of that. I have several black friends, and they are equals in our group. There's not even a hint of them being "different" in any of our dealings. But they act mature, take responsibility for their actions, and behave like the adults they want to be viewed as. Plenty of whites who behave like animals and don't get that respect - because it's not about skin color (no matter how hard you make it to be). It's about behavior.

  7. Who is doing the looting, committing the murders and violent assaults? And white America is supposed to "treat them like those who don't do such things"?

It would help them be treated like human beings if they stopped behaving like violent animals.

And why do those who loot and murder and assault do so?

  9. What... you think there is "righteousness" in those crimes?

No, but until whites begin to address these questions, the situation will not improve. And those who hold the same POV -- such as those who've posted here today -- will not achieve any sort of illumination if they talk only to each other.
