DBPhoenix Posts/Journals

Discussion in 'Educational Resources' started by Chris Paciello, Apr 22, 2016.

  1. Hello,

I'm looking for some previous posts, journals, threads, etc from DBPhoenix. I cant seem to find them anymore but it was a lot of information on Price Action trading with various chart examples, PDF files, etc. I don't know if they were removed from this site and put on another?

Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction?

I always was interested in DBPhoenix's style of trading and had a lot of great info to share.

    Thank you all in advance!

  3. I know that he sells or at least used to sell a $10 e-book. Perhaps see if you can get your hand on that. :D

All the info is freely posted here at ET by him and then some prior to him being banned. The ebook was just for those that didn't have time to look for all the content on their own or didn't want to read different threads spread across 2 - 3 different forums.

In fact, the info (the threads) at this forum and others are more up to date and contains 10x more chart examples. All the topics discussed are not of his own design except for one. In fact, all the topics discussed except for the one he designed have tons of videos on Youtube by others that has nothing to do with dbphoenix (e.g. AMT, Wyckoff). Simply, nobody needs dbphoenix to learn that stuff...its freely discussed all over the internet in blogs, Youtube, other forums and especially here at Elitetrader.com

Someone a few years back organized all the threads in chronological order and gave a brief summary of them. I think there was like 9 threads. May be worth finding that message post for those not wanting to cough up $10 bucks for old information. Another way to look at it, he was charging a fee for content already posted at the forum.

It all kind'uv reminds me of those "student notes" you can purchase for each class for very cheap by professional note takers instead of going to class and taking notes yourself...very useful if you have a part-time job at the same time when you're suppose to be in class. I used it for those 8am classes or 7pm night classes.

I wasn't lazy, I just had other things to do at those times but the classes were required credit. :D

I suggest you get a copy of his book. It's a consolidation, re-organization, and update of everything he's done over the past twenty years. AFAIC, it contains everything you need to know in order to trade price. And you don't have to slog through thousands of posts.

There are a lot of drafts floating around. The current version comes in three parts and is over 400 pages long, as I said. Those who are interested can obtain a preview uploaded to the Trading By Price stickie in the Wyckoff Forum at Traders Laboratory. Or they can read all those threads. But a lot has been added over the past year. Some of it is posted at Trade2Win.
