Again, I've got 20 yrs under my belt teaching kids from all over the country. You're a "volunteer" at some school somewhere. And all the tap dancing you do regarding how it's all the parents' fault just won't fly. Review the DOE stats if you like, but I doubt you will since it isn't possible for you to address your own bigotry.

Repeating yourself so quickly? Running out of things to say? Surely not.

FACTS .. deal with them asshole. I present facts whereas you present NOTHING. You have no teaching credentials. Right .. it's not the parents fault ... it's whitey's fault that poor kids fail. I presented a number of reasons as to why middle class kids succeed and why poor kids fail ... reasons supported throughout the US and you want to refute them? LOL. That in itself shows you NEVER taught a single kid.

You have yet to present any facts at all, just opinions. And opinions which are based on limited experience at that.

And, no, it's not "whitey's" fault that kids fail. I enumerated all that earlier today. So has the DOE. Nor have you presented any "reasons", just your own prejudices.

So the parents have nothing to do with it?

    db,

Since you clearly are an expert regarding education in Ferguson and how parenting impacts the education, what percentage of the parents in Ferguson ground their children if their child brings home anything less than a B?

What percentage of parents in Ferguson preach to their kids their entire life that they have to get a BA at minimum?

    A. Well, of course, the poor don't have any of that. If you doubt it, just get in your car and go visit an inner-city school (and by "inner-city" I mean poor). But beyond that, if you're really interested, look at what's happening with regard to privatization, which as usual leaves the poor out in the cold, particularly with regard to who's behind the push.

    B. As to the parents, of course. However, unless and until all other variables have been controlled, blaming the parents is nothing more than an easy way out for those who don't want to deal with the fundamental problems of inadequate physical plant, quality and number of teachers, current materials, and all the other things I've listed. Provide all that, and if the students still can't achieve, then the answer lies elsewhere. But few have even tried. It costs too much. Yes, there are pilot projects here and there, but there have been pilot projects for decades, and where's the money? I've always believed that abandoning the old model of a dual track was a big mistake, and it looks as though I was right. But privatization will likely win because the oligarchs are behind it, and the poor will be abandoned once again, and we'll end up paying anyway in welfare.

As with so many other things, no easy answers, and it has little to do with red and blue other than the philosophy of what one thinks a society ought to be doing for its citizens.

Sorry, I answered your first two questions before I saw this one and thought they were serious.

    My mistake.

But I'll leave the answers there in case anyone else might benefit from them.

Incidentally, Michael Brown was going to be entering college in a few days. But he won't be registering now due to the fact that he's dead.

You'll hear crickets now. He can't debate that, and he knows it, as well as the rest of his libtards fascist buddies who'll run from that like their asses are on fire.
