http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-08-22/where-does-market-go-here Correlation with balance sheet, and projected target for S&P... was wondering what you guys thought about this study and article..
Could you summarize if for us? I had a quick look but I don't feel like reading the whole thing to determine if they are bullish or bearish. What is their projected target for the S&P ...... and when?
they are saying the fed balance sheet is very correlated with fed balance sheet.. basically the twitter post has a quick chart.. putting the balance sheet moving average at 1950 S&P.. take a quick look at the chart at least.. https://twitter.com/zerohedge/status/634466735760891904/photo/1?ref_src=twsrc^tfw
You mean the FED balance sheet is tightly correlated with the S&P? Yes it is. Has been since 2008. FED QE and IR controls the market. Fed balance sheet has topped out and so has the market...
Seems also that other CB balance sheets have almost caught up with Fed (ECB, BOJ, RBA). World markets seem toppy and were all depending on China for growth and now that notion has been dashed.
Alot of traders from this article in Futures Mag.. literally say alot of what we say.. http://www.futuresmag.com/2015/08/21/we-asked-traders-if-fed-will-finally-take-plunge?page=1
well there could be some unknown unknowns at work that might negate our entire existance or even just cancel out everything causing the keysians to think they did something great, and kill the strength of street knowledge of the trader..
