"Youths" "Gather" In Philly, Damage Four Cop Cars

The short version. A neighborhood cookout turned into a fullscale riot following Instagram posts and upwards of 1000 feral savages ran riot in Philadelphia. Cops were called and apparently did nothing as four of their cars were trashed. Business as usual in another failed city. At least no one was killed.

The thing that interested me was the article and the ultra PC tone. Race was not mentioned once, but the familiar synonym youths was, as well as "young adults." We are told they gathered and even "assembled", as if there was order involved. The fact was this was a riot, the police, as usual, stood by with their arms folded, even as their own vehicles were destroyed, and the city officials and police congratulated each other afterwards for a job well done. Sure makes you want to move to Philly or invest in a business there.

  2. A disproportionately large number of blacks were probably involved, which demonstrates an immediate need to decriminalize those activities.

    Tis the Woke Way.

  3. You are going to decriminalize large cook out gatherings?

  4. I think they are all set if that is all that happened there.

Not every cook out gathering involves the trashing of four police cars, but I dunno, could be the new normal in parts of the Dem Plantation and elsewhere, and I just need to get with the woke program.

  5. If I read the info correctly, someone went on social media and put up an invite for free picnic at the location and it attracted hundreds of uninvited guests. The original party was not intended to be a riot. Some bad eggs come in and took advantage of a situation which leads to people thinking all gatherings of Blacks are for the sole purpose of violence and mayhem.

"A man named Aaron who was there said it started out as a regular cookout right around 5 or 6 p.m., but that things escalated by nightfall when several people shared the location on Snapchat. Investigators later learned the gathering started out as a cookout. A message went out on Instagram about a “free party,” which brought hundreds of young people to the area."

And they all showed up instantly and nobody called the police was it was just a couple of bad apples?

These are the decisions that lead to nightmares.

  8. Well the facts are the initial party was at like 6pm bt it had grown to large numbers by 11 PM. I doubt the initial group had a party just to cause a riot just because they are Black.

  9. So if social media is involved, it's ok? This wasn't some kids drinking beer and getting loud. They destroyed four cop cars. This is a terrible precedent for the cops as well. Do nothing if a large crowd of blacks is involved. I thought that was only the official policy of Baltimore. It's worked out great there, so good luck Philadelphia.

  10. And no one has suggested that. They destroyed four police cars and no one was arrested. You're ok with that, I'm not.
