A thread about your motivation slogan for the BEST of your DISCIPLINE. I am asking pro traders for what they think is their cooles and best working slogan for themselves to push them to perfect discipline. For the traders here, who know how to trade, but the only difficult think that is left is discipline. I am hoping to get some cool posts and a lot of really good motivated slogans, so that when i am feeling bad, i can watch this thread and get new motivation. I will start. i have a lot of slogans. I have kind of an interesting story on the subject of discipline. When I was starting out I would have days where my discipline was out the window as far as my trading. I used to be a smoker. When smoking, I would always think internally "why do I smoke" "this is killing me slowly" "this costs money" "this makes me stink" "i need to quit soon" Ect Ect... Through my journey of trading I thought. "If I can't even be disciplined enough to quit smoking, how will I be disciplined enough to trade ?" Quitting smoking actually helped my discipline out tremendously with trading. People that are overweight, addicted to anything, have bad habits ect. If you aren't disciplined in other areas it will be hard to be a disciplined trader. My .02
