Harry Reid is going to have a hard time portraying Will Pitt as a Koch brothers shill...

William Rivers Pitt, a leftwing editor at TruthOut, whose foibles have been chronicled in NewsBusters and is probably best known for his journalism "scoop" of predicting the indictment of Karl Rove on May 12, 2006, is back in the spotlight again. While waiting 24 business hours to elapse for the Rove indictment to finally take place, Pitt shocked many at the Democratic Underground by posting an extremely angry attack, What I've learned about the Affordable Care Act, upon Obamacare due to a bad personal experience with it. In order to fully appreciate how far Pitt has turned against Obamacare, we need to go to his DU post back in December when he was proclaiming his love for Obama's signature plan...before he even experienced it:

What I've learned after a three-month war with these fiends: the ACA says the insurance companies cannot deny coverage to those with pre-existing conditions, which is true as far as it goes. But they can deny coverage for the life-saving medications necessary to treat those conditions. The insurance company I signed up with through the ACA exchange just denied coverage of my wife's multiple sclerosis medication. We're "covered," to the tune of $700 a month...just not for what she really needs.

    A cozy loophole, that.

    F--- you, insurance industry.

F--- you, Mr. President, you piece of sh*t used-car salesman.

From my heart and soul, f--- you.

I long for a time machine.

I helped, in my own small way, to promote this thing, because of the pre-existing conditions aspect that would benefit my wife. I feel like a f---ing dupe.

On edit: I AM a f---ing dupe. Last time that happens.

I'm sorry to hear about your Wife. This situation is so far beyond sad, words don't sum it up.
Btw, I HAD blue cross/blue shield, and it was GREAT insurance, and very affordable. After receiving the letter that my plan didn't meet the "affordable" care act, I've been going to the VA which was something I vowed to never do as I didn't care for the way things were when I was shot in Iraq. None the less, the taxpayer has to pay for me now. So fucking sad!

I should have put the part that was written by the liberal author in italics, it was his wife, not mine.

Sorry to hear about your insurance.

Glad it wasn't yours then. And yes, it burns my ass alive losing my insurance just so this tyrant can get his total control over his subjects. Hitler used gas, and guns. This nazi will thin the herd of those older folks (infidels in his eyes), who once knew freedom, by simply killing them off medically. It's a brilliant plan that other dictators scratch their heads saying, "why didn't I think of that?"

  7. Minor details! The important thing about the ACA is that it fulfills the marxist mandate to socialize medicine. Workers of the world unite, you have nothing to lose but your chains.. and your prosperity, freedom, choice of jobs, choice of where to live, health care... I could go on...

Despite Barack Obama desperate final push to increase enrollment numbers in Obamacare prior to the March 31st pseudo deadline, FOX News reports on a Bankrate.com poll that will not bode will with the administration. Prior to the passage of the Obamacare legislation by 100% Democrat vote, Barack Obama stated on numerous occasions that 46 million Americans were uninsured. He used that number to push for a government takeover of 1/6 of the U.S. economy resulting in millions losing their health insurance altogether and more experiencing rising costs directly related to the unaffordable ‘Affordable Care Act.’

Obama and HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius initially had a goal of 7 million enrolled in Obamacare as a barometer for ‘what success looked like.’ When it because apparent that they were far from reaching their goal, they began counting as ‘enrollees’ individuals who established an account in Healthcare.gov, but never finalized a purchase. Medicaid enrollment was also increased significantly due to Obamacare.

Now, the Bankrate.com poll reveals that 1/3 of uninsured Americans have no intentions of signing up for Obamacare.
