We have all grown accustom to seeing these hoaxes. There will be some sort of new disease and the media will over-hype it and make all kinds of outlandish, the sky is falling claims only to see none of them even come remotely close to becoming reality. Lets run down a few these claims they have said in the past. They said AIDS would mutate into an airborne virus and kill everybody. Of course we know that unless you like it in the pooper or share needles you have just about zero percent chance of becoming infected. Complete hype. Completely irrational. Its what is expected from the media. The Y2K bug. Yeah we all remember this. The media was saying everybody would lose power, planes would be falling from the sky and so on. What actually happened? A bunch of people got drunk like any other New Years Eve and the world had a fireworks show. Complete hype. Completely irrational. Its what is expected from the media. SARS. How can we forget the millions who were going to die from SARS? Of course we know the result. Complete hype. Completely irrational. Its what is expected from the media. Bird Flu. See SARS. Complete hype. Completely irrational. Its what is expected from the media. Swine Flu. See SARS. Complete hype. Completely irrational. Its what is expected from the media. Global warming. We could be here a long time, but you all know what I am talking about. Complete hype. Completely irrational. Its what is expected from the media. MERS. How big will the hype be? Have the hoaxsters learned their lesson?
