I just finished reading the Washington Post editorial page, always a depressing exercise, and talking with some well-meaning liberals. The common thread is how can it possibly be that an armed adult vigilante can follow a young innocent boy and kill him and nothing can be done? There are calls to end Florida's stand your ground law, from corrupt AG Holder no less, there are calls to do away with concealed carry laws, there are calls to redo self defense laws. There are calls from the usual race hustlers, ie Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights, to prosecute Zimmerman on federal hate crime charges, even though the FBI investigation essentially said there were no grounds for it. The common thread of all this anguish was a determined refusal to face facts. If we go by facts, the first people to blame would be the black thugs who terrorized Zimmerman's little neighborhood. If they had not insisted on robbing and breaking into houses, Zimmerman would not have been on the lookout for suspicious people. I have yet to hear anyone make this point. Why is it that liberals absolutely refuse to even entertain the possibility that Trayvon started the fight, even though all the physical evidence and testimony support that conclusion? At most, they will say "no one knows what happened except Zimmerman and Trayvon." Well, that's not quite true. We know Zimmerman sustained multiple injuries to his face and head that were completely consistent with his version of events. Why does the appalling history from Trayvon's twitter account not at least give them pause? If Zimmerman had an online record of making threats, racist comments and glorifying violence, you can bet they would give it plenty of relevance and the judge would have let it into evidence. Here we have a record of Trayvon actually bragging about suckerpunching or coldcocking people, yet it's ignored. Similarly, he wanted a gun. Zimmerman having a legal gun was evil, but Trayvon wanting an illegal gun means nothing. Finally, there is steadfast refusal among liberals to even discuss or acknowledge the single most telling comment, that of Rachel Jeantele that she told Trayvon to fear Zimmerman because eh might be an aggressive homo. The inescapable conclusion, that Trayvon was infuriated and sought to teach the homo a traditional lesson, is too horrifying for them to even think about, much less debate. We've learned , or at least had retaught, a valuable lesson. Facts mean nothing to liberals, the law means nothing, justice means nothing. They are all means to an end. No tragedy should go unexploited, and if you have to make up facts and ruin peoples' lives, that's ok as long as it doesn't hurt anyone important on their side.

No, they will never stop. They cannot stop. The leftists need a constant drum beat of racism to keep the movement alive. They will continue to willfully ignore the blatant racism and bigotry demonstrated by Rachel Jeantel, both in her courtroom testimony and her interview with Piers Morgan. They will always willfully ignore the race bating tactics of Rev. Al, Jesse Jackson and the like. They will instead focus like a laser on anyone who dares to question the absurdity of their hypocrisy about who is and isn't racist, what is and isn't racist, and who can be justified in their racism. They will continue to turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to the collapse of the black family structure and the community at large. They will NEVER address the real issues surrounding the complete despair in which most urban blacks have to live. To do so would have them looking squarely at themselves and what their policies have done. That ain't gonna' happen.

I didn't bring up black and white in my post. I was just wondering if Zimmerman was really that big of a pussy as he seems, I know appearances can be deceiving, I'm just saying. And no murray a broken nose won't make anyone scream, not most men anyway. And yes Martin was a teenage boy, I know for many of you here a person being black puts fear into your hearts but he was a teenager. Remember that Democraps never let a good crisis go to waste. The ignorant left populace has latched onto this story after being fed a racist story by Obama, Sharpton, Jackson and others. And, since it has caught on with liberals they are stirring like crazy to keep it going. We have now noticed that Obama and Holder are trying to use the foolish anger over the imaginary race card to advance gun control. It's starting with the attack on 'stand your ground' laws and they hope they can springboard it to more. People like Sharpton and Jackson are just in it to get their name out there and make some money.
