Why is IQ'S Nasdaq Level 2 Openview so expensive ?

Discussion in 'Data Sets and Feeds' started by eves_banished_children, May 6, 2018.

  1. It's something brokers charge like 15$us for non-pro, 60$us pro. Even Nasdaq itself only charges 15$us for non-pro, 76$us pro.

So why would IQ be charging 60$us non-pro, 375$us pro for the exact same data ?

You must have an open API so IQ is charging you a non-display fee. The other fees look like fees when you only have data to the display, Google for NYSE non-display.

  3. Thank you Mr. Morse, that is very helpful, I will check it out ...

Not every broker or data provider is being forced to be compliant. The SIP feeds are going after everyonw that is hosted or has an open API.
