I've been wanting to ask this thing for sometime......I look at for example the ServiceNow stock on various site (links below) and they all are missing a value for the P/E ratio. Why? Why especially considering that this ratio should easily be calculated? Interestingly sites usually say "n/a" but it's not correct that the information is not available or not applicable, it is simply not a finite number Thanks sm
No problem. Years ago, it was more common to show negative earnings with a negative P-E, not sure why they stopped that.
