Who would've thought a country of atheists has more morals (and balls) than us?

Russia is known to be a nation with a majority of Atheists. You would think that a nation of atheists would be all for gays. You would also think that coming out with anti-gay legislation they would cave under pressure from the international community and threats of losing hosting the Olympics, but no..they dont give into the pansy ass leftists.

Way to show some balls, Russia. Keep it up, and you may see a large influx of Christians heading your way.

Russia is not a nation with a majority of Atheists. Soviet rule prohibited organized religion because it threatened the state, but still Christian Orthodoxy remained. Today, many of it's citizens may not practice religion, but there are a lot of Christians and Jews.

  3. As of 2006 there were 15-20% russian orthodox, 10-15% muslim and 2% other Christians.

    Thats more than 60% atheist.

  4. How does not believing in a god have anything to do with a person's views on homosexuality.

Have you been living under a rock?

Christianity, Islam and most other religions teach that homosexuality is a sin. Surely you've heard of this even as the dumbass you are.

  6. Why not educate instead of insult and refer Big A to the teachings which substantiate your claims and explain homosexuality to be a sin?

I'd be particularly interested to learn what Christ had to say about it.

Well then, a lot has changed since 2006. Wikipedia has (as of 2012) :

    41 % Russian Orthodox
    6.5 % Muslim
    4.1 % other Christian
    1.5 % Other Orthodox
25 % Spiritual but not religious
    13 % Atheist/non-religious

    the rest Undecided and other.

  8. In Matthew 19:3-9 Christ defined Marriage as between a man and a woman and made it clear that ALL sex outside of marriage is a sin.

Christ also said that the old rules in the old testament were still valid in Matthew 5:17

“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.18“For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.19“Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

So basically all these liberals that are telling you gay marriage is ok, will be called the least in the kingdom of heaven and all us conservatives are going to be called great. (ooo I bet that chaps your liberal asses) :p

Good news though...you can still repent. :)

  9. Good to know that wikipedia is on top of things, although I have to say people that say they are "Spiritual" are basically atheists that don't want to offend people or have a religious discussion.

In Russia, it's a crime to try to sell homosexual propaganda on the street to children.

In the US, it's a crime to profile people by race when looking for criminals.

I know which country i think has a greater sense of both morals and common sense.
