I do it quite often and I can admit that I am addicted to Anime and Manga. I am watching it on KissAnime but about reading, I do it many applications and sites. Why I love it? Because it allows for a much deeper level of immersion than live-action. By removing the need to establish a suspension of disbelief anime can immediately establish any world it wants to, from grisly medieval times, to bustling modern-day, to wondrous fantasy worlds, and even to galaxies and planets.
