    Hello,
I'm an Italian resident but I'm an U.S. citizen. I wanted to start doing some online trading but I couldn't manage to understand what was the best broker online that was open to non-U.S. residents.
I wanted to invest a little amount of money (around 2000$) because I'm 19 and I still don't have a lot of money (and I'm not going to put all of my money in) so I needed a broker that had not too high fees and in which I could operate from Italy. Anyway I would operate mostly with U.S. stocks and not italian, so the problem would be only the residency and not the amount of italian stocks I could purchase.
Thank you a lot for the help

What the heck? Pack your bags and tour Europe. Don't waste your time investing right now.

    And, Europe is cheap.

  3. Best broker in the US is the InFernal Revenue Service

    Hello Nanni:

You could take a look at the below articles. They at least give you a good group of brokers to select from. Just watch out for monthly fees and trades minimum requirements.
Interactive Brokers is a good example of that. IB is only for active traders.

For you Fidelity might be a good choice since they do have low commissions and no monthly fees.

And they have excellent online research capabilities for stocks which is important.

I do not know what their residency requirements are.

    Good Luck
