if they vote no there will be a double wammy of the no + 160 jobs lost and the sp500 will drop 150 points in half an hour the dow will go down 1000 points and the nasdaq will drop 250 points EASILY

 

this is precisely why they are forced to pass it. nobody want to be "that representative who destroyed the market".

 

Is complete financial blackmail. Screw the markets. Let all the crap fail. Have some cajones.

 

I don't think anyone would know what to do next if the crap failed, and for those that do know what to do it would take too long to implement it.

Agree, I think the reason the markets are up is because the 159,000 job loss this morning will hopefully have a positive outlook on the bill being passed today, however if it DOES NOT pass we will see the DOW drop quickly below 10k, if it doesnt pass this time I dont think they will try a third time.
