I feel stupid asking this question, but what is the definition of Malibu Person? Is it an insult or a compliment to be refered to as this? It looks like a cool place in CA with lots of Hollywood types--- so unless there is something I don't know seems like a compliment. I searched google but can't find this term used. Can anyone advise? Thanks, surf
Brother Surf...I think it's a term for ultra cool people like you and me. However, most Malibu People believe in TA/PA.
Also might add that when Malibu People speak about "price drivers", they are referring to their very expensive new cars.
I'd take a guess, whether it's a compliment or an insult depends on who called you that. A fan, an admirer, an equal peer, someone who want you to do well might say "You're such a New Yorker." They are happy for you. They know you want to be a New Yorker. It's a compliment. Schumer might call Hillary a New Yorker when she became a senator. Definitley a compliment. If Hillary pissed of her red neck arkasas friends when voting for gay marriage, they might call her a typical fucking new yorker (insult). Capece?

A castle in the sand and a lady And the waves roll in Keep it in mind for some other time Malibu people really know how to live Big belly woman laying waiting in the sand for her baby While the waves the roll in If she needs a spot to drop, you know she's not to got Before the waves roll in It's the season again [ These are Malibu People Lyrics on http://www.lyricsmania.com/ ]
Thanks for the insight. I surmised it meant the person believed the term meant flaky or detached from reality. But maybe it was a compliment.
