What does Crimea and Global Warming Alarmists have in Common?

It's that magical and fraudulent "97%" reported number while reality is totally different.

The website of the “President of Russia’s Council on Civil Society and Human Rights” posted a blog that was quickly taken down as if it were toxic radioactive waste. According to the Council’s report about the March referendum to annex Crimea, the turnout was a maximum 30%. And of these, only half voted for annexation – meaning only 15 percent of Crimean citizens voted for annexation.

The fate of Crimea, therefore, was decided by the 15 percent of Crimeans, who voted in favor of unification with Russia (under the watchful eye of Kalashnikov-toting soldiers).

The 'official' Crimean election results, as reported widely in the Western press, showed a 97 percent vote in favor of annexation with a turnout of 83 percent. No international observers were allowed. This pro-Russia election pressure would have raised the already weak vote in favor of annexation.

To make sure no one misses this:

Official Kremlin results: 97% for annexation, turnout 83 percent, and percent of Crimeans voting in favor 82%.

President’s Human Rights Council results: 50% for annexation, turnout 30%, percent of Crimeans voting in favor 15%.

Hmm. So what you're arguing is that since the percentage is the same in both claims, 97%, if the one claim is false then the other claim is false.

For some some reason 97% is the magical number selected by politically driven bull-shiat artists.

As soon as you see some assertion claiming 97% support, the "this is total bull-shiat" alarm bells should be going off in your head.

  4. Such a shame your parents couldn't afford private school, and you had to get the standardized pushem through US education.

READ THE FIRST PARAGRAPH of Forbes article.

Why would an official government site post a Blog Report for 5 minutes.

What in reality happened is that they were hacked and Set Up, so that Organized Western Front can make up propaganda to continue to slander Russia.

AND HOW DO I KNOW ALL OF THIS YOU MIGHT ASK Mr American.

I get worldwide reports not just western MSM, and people of Crimea were supper happy to succeed because they were told their pensions would double and salaries almost double.

They massively voted to join Russia.

Why do you think Eastern Ukrainians want the same deal.

THIS IS ABOUT MONEY, Russians are buying votes essentially something you as an American ought to know about. :p:cool:

  5. When you see a price at Costco which ends in ".97", means it's being closed out.

Coincidence? I don't believe in coincidence.

  7. 49% of us HATE IT!

The Crimean election spoke loudly... "We don't care what happens to the country so long as the government gives us money".

    Same in the US, sadly.
