  1. I am looking at SPY only to compare Feb-Apr rally and this one. Both started at ~104 and now this rally actually went further in LESS TIME. We should crash really bad, really soon.

  3. Some day there will be another crash.
Some day, as Jeff Macke was fond of saying, the sun will explode.

Flat. We're up against very strong resistance, IMO, dating back to the beginning of the Great Fall of the Fall of 2008. I'll be very surprised if we break through this area on the first attempt.

  6. VIX is different this time in that it is still ~18, while around Apr top it went as low as 15.

Still Vix is the lowest since Apr, total Put/Call collapsed today also to the lowest level since Apr.

    :p

At this rate will be at $100 by January!!!

Again these higher prices have nothing to do with the old teaching of supply and demand but rather greedy fuckers speculating.

  8. i am looking at some random charts: it is truly amazing how overbought we are. i bet shorts are gonna get rich next week.

what's caught my eye was Qs lagging SPY in the last two days. does it make sense that the leader of this rally to be the first to show some tiredness at the top?

They have much to do with Bernanke and QE, too. Just like the last run-up in oil when Bernanke made panic-ridden cuts of 50 and 75 bps.

Forget the "blame the speculators" game. You're missing the point.
