Hey, I'm back. I am not in favor of weed at all, but just thought that this was interesting.

This is how they grow it in Tennessee . This grow was underneath a
house in a cave. The entrance was through a secret hydraulic door in the
garage that led to a concrete ramp that went about 50 yards into the
ground. Inside the cave was living quarters and a secret escape hatch that
led you through a tunnel that exited via another hydraulic door that
opened up a rock on the outside. It was very elaborate. The set up
allowed them to harvest every 60 days which resulted in multi-million
dollar sales. One of the guys busted was living in a house on the water
in FL and had a nice yacht.
One of the agents here in Nashville worked on this for 5 years
before the warrant was finally served in December."

Good thing those thousands of hours of work weren't devoted to lesser causes- such as getting child molesters, con men and spree killers off the streets.

  3. It is absurd to legalize Tobacco and keep other drugs illegal. The government should legalize all drugs and impose heavy taxes on them. They can use the tax revenue to educate the population and treat the addicted.

  4. Just by looking at that operation from the pics its doubtful that they had multimillion dollars sales unless, you count over 10 years or so total. 1 plant gives you about 1 ounce. The set up looks like around 350 plants. (7 rows by about 50 plants in each row) Now these guys are obviously selling by the pound and not by the eighth. So 350/16 = 21.8 pounds but lets just say 22 to make the numbers easier. 22 pounds if they sell pound by pound they might get 2000 a pound if its good stuff and if they are selling 1 pound at a time. But if its not the best and if they are selling multiple pounds at a time (maybe to a big time pot supplier) that buys pounds and pounds to sell to others) the price could be as low as 500 a pound. But lets just say they are getting 2k a pound...times that by 22 pounds and they are making 44k every 2 months or about 250k a year....over 5 years by my math thats 1.25 million...they dont even hit the multi million dollar mark until year 8.

I always hate it when they over inflate what they actually got. They always get the price of the smallest amount that can be sold on the street and then just multiply. 50 dollars an eigth? lets mulitply that by 8 then by 16 then by 22 then by 6 and we get 850k a year....600k more than what the dealers were actually making. They always do the same with cocaine saying they seized millions of dollars worth of cocaine. 2 million dollars of cocaine in america (assuming 50 dollars per gram) is only worth 60k in columbia. (assuming the price is still 1500 a kilo there)

I dont thinks drugs should be completely legal but i do think that they should give a few cities permission to sell it so if people want to do that, they can go there to do it and people that dont want to live around it dont have to live in those cities.

  5. Impressive setup. They're going to throw a good businessman in jail.

The drug war is a fucking joke!

  6. pass the goodies around man.

  7. Your count is incomplete. If you noticed, he has a conveyor belt production line. From seedlings to fully grown plants. This guy is harvesting every day. Not every few months. I wonder if his excessive utility bill is what tipped off the authorities. This looks to be a very high class operation.

High taxes is not the answer. All it would do is create a black market for a cheaper product.

  9. Ill bet they will be annoyed when they find out they could have tripled the yeild.
    That, and the jail thing.

Neither util bills nor heat nor any external signs gave this guy away, somebody trusted the wrong person. Seems like that's what it always comes down to, flapping jaws.
