    Hi,
I am looking for either paid, or free web-based data provider for my application for all or following or most asset classes (i.e. US stocks, futures, forex, etc):

    - intraday real time data ( high resolution, price and tick, up to 1 min or tick for example)
    - intraday historical data (( high resolution, price and tick, up to 1 min or tick for example)

Any thoughts? gotta be web-based not software based.

    Thanks.

Thank you for sharing. Any thoughts on, hich broker offers web based trading instead of using trading software?

  6. Most brokers that offer API's require you to have their trading client running. Your code connects to the local client which in turn connects to the broker's servers.

TD Ameritrade offers a direct (no client) api, and ETrade, Tradier, and Zerodha/Kite offer Rest api's.

Also, many brokers offer direct FIX connectivity for larger acounts (and may also charge monthly usage fees).

Thanks Kevin, problem solved. I was wondering if IB has a quality real data feed or CQG.
