this is why i use trailing stops, nailed a 1-point win: other than too-small size, any comments? my chatroom members loved it
Couple questions: At what point would you scale in? And why were you not scaling in? I ask because I've seen your competition take a trade like this and scale in every 10 cents or so. That's how they claim to make the big bucks. Not that I believe them, but you have mentioned starting with small size and scaling in to positions.
i can confirm that i would have taken that trade and exited about where you did, so yes it was a good trade.
Great question, typical scale in prices would be 6.2 6.7 7.2 Didn't scale in bc it ran fast, plus I was busy moderating the chatroom... it's a challenge to trade and teach simultaneously
He clearly wants at least one thread on ET front page at all times. (Sorry to be cynical but this pattern is hard to miss.) It's basically fine but I'm wondering if he really cares so much about this one trade.
Yes I am always looking for ways to improve my trading, so I ask for feedback. There's few people here posting PnL proof of real trades, it would be great to see more. As a forum sponsor I do try to post daily, if you don't appreciate my content then use the ignore feature. As an award winning educator, my threads are popular with traders here for good reason -- best wishes!
%% LOL you were loaded for bear + locked + loaded. Looks good= something that rockets up from ......$5 to past $50.00 in one week / may go up again. WITH that kind of monster move maybe best to trade small. Management owns >40%; good capitalist tool.
