Anyone using Trader Work Station from IB. When I click on the button IB Risk Navigator I get the following msg:

Access to the site was blocked.

I also cannot open the IB Chat window as nothing happens when I click on the link to chat to support,

    Thanks

    I had a recent issue/conflict with Multicharts(MC)/IB-TWS/IB-API

Start of each day, data wouldn't load unless I performed a system re-boot.

I attempted, un-install, re-install of all IB components and MC to no avail...

Issue was on one system only, not duplicated on other computers.

I ended up just re-mounting my Image of the Fresh Windows7pro install, updates and primary programs. (Anti-Virus, Macrium-Reflect, MS-office)

Performed fresh install of IB-TWS, IB-API & Multi-charts... issue resolved...

Sometimes its easier to just reformat (re-mount image) and fresh install than troubleshoot and spend hours trying to locate the source of the conflict...

Granted, Windows7 fresh install is a time-consuming endeavor due to the Windows Update issues... but if you perform a system image of your OS after a fresh install with Macrium reflect (or other quality imaging software) future "re-installs" only take minutes... and it is infinitely better than trying to repair a corrupt install or registry....

I can get my systems up and running from failed drive to operational status in 15 minutes (that includes time to physically replace the SSD in case) my previous comment regarding Macrium for your reference

If you used a registry cleaner product or possibly Revo uninstaller with advanced scan and deleted all (indicated files) you could easily have corrupted your registry, in which case your best option is fresh windows install...

    Good luck

Edit: Java can also give you headaches with IB-TWS, regardless if you have 64bit or 32bit windows installation, when installing IB-TWS install the 32-bit version, allow it to install the java required for it (32bit TWS requires 32bit Java) ... can save a lot of headaches if you use third party applications...
