21 Reasons why Canadian healthcare is better than that of the US (including Obamacare)

    Three eyecatching points:

In Canada cost of healthcare per person is half to that of the US.

No one dies in Canada due to lack of healthcare !!

No one or family goes bankrupt due to health related needs. In US 60% of families go bankrupt as a result of medical costs.

Its all good for Cigna (CI)

  3. If you love Canada so much, why are you posting on a USA website? Why not post on the Canadian website? Hey man, we are trading markets here. And like most Americans, I will be more than happy to trade in Canada, or any other country for that matter that can give me a better deal.

Why the hell do you even care about USA if Canada is so great? Won't people just naturally go there?

There was a time when we had to attract people to immigrate to USA. But those days are over. Now we tell them "Fuck you, try Canada, at least you won't die due to lack of healthcare."

I can say that Uncle Sam pays $200 for a single power transistor that is not extreme quality. Any time you can invoice the government you are fortunate. It wont be any different for underwriting additional healthcare plans for the government.
It costs what? Ya, ok, sure , thats alright, next.

Folks! US was the beacon of the modern humanity......now it is turning into an Ordinary World..............

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDLiVwpv89s

    "Ordinary World"

Came in from a rainy Thursday
    On the avenue
Thought I heard you talking softly

I turned on the lights, the TV
    And the radio
Still I can't escape the ghost of you

What has happened to it all?
    Crazy, some are saying
Where is the life that I recognize?
    Gone away

But I won't cry for yesterday
    There's an ordinary world
    Somehow I have to find
And as I try to make my way
    To the ordinary world
    I will learn to survive

    Passion or coincidence
    Once prompted you to say
"Pride will tear us both apart"
Well now pride's gone out the window
    Cross the rooftops
    Run away
Left me in the vacuum of my heart

    What is happening to me?
    Crazy, some'd say
Where is my friend when I need you most?
    Gone away

But I won't cry for yesterday
    There's an ordinary world
    Somehow I have to find
And as I try to make my way
    To the ordinary world
    I will learn to survive

    Papers in the roadside
    Tell of suffering and greed
    Here today, forgot tomorrow
    Ooh, here besides the news
Of holy war and holy need
Ours is just a little sorrowed talk

And I don't cry for yesterday
    There's an ordinary world
    Somehow I have to find
And as I try to make my way
    To the ordinary world
    I will learn to survive

    Every one
Is my world, I will learn to survive
    Any one
Is my world, I will learn to survive
    Any one
    Is my world
    Every one
    Is my world

AFAIK, there is no private healthcare in Canada. If you need something done in a hurry, you have to go elsewhere, probably the US. At least here in the UK, we have the option of private healthcare.

this UK branch of AXA might give you private healthcare options in canada. Basically the program does not cover health care in the USA because its such a insane price for basic procedures.

I like that about the UK and France. There is a public option for healthcare, but if you want more coverage you can purchase a private policy for around 70-100 bucks a month that is a great program.
