Looking at news reports about major union organizing efforts over the past year, it might seem unions are operating from a position of strength. The truth is that the percentage of private sector union-represented workers dropped from 6.5% in 2017 to 6.4% in 2018, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. (Industry Week)
