The award is the biggest yet from "Operation Warp Speed", the White House program aimed at accelerating access to vaccines and treatments to fight the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. Congratulations to all investors who bought nvax at a price in single digits in March 2020. They are up 10x to 30x.
That handout makes no sense IMO. By 2021 90%+ living organisms have already developed own vaccine or disease has stopped spread... What am i missing here?
Now it makes perfect sense, all pieces fit together. Also it is potential vaccine... In other words they boosted company developing vaccine that may or may not work, scheduled to release for times when the vaccine is most likely no longer needed.
