Motherboard: “At a Twitter all-hands meeting on March 22, an employee asked a blunt question: Twitter has largely eradicated Islamic State propaganda off its platform. Why can’t it do the same for white supremacist content?”

“An executive responded by explaining that Twitter follows the law… With every sort of content filter, there is a tradeoff, he explained. When a platform aggressively enforces against ISIS content, for instance, it can also flag innocent accounts as well, such as Arabic language broadcasters. Society, in general, accepts the benefit of banning ISIS for inconveniencing some others, he said.”

“Twitter hasn’t taken the same aggressive approach to white supremacist content because the collateral accounts that are impacted can, in some instances, be Republican politicians… The employee argued that, on a technical level, content from Republican politicians could get swept up by algorithms aggressively removing white supremacist material. Banning politicians wouldn’t be accepted by society as a trade-off for flagging all of the white supremacist propaganda, he argued.”

This says alot more about the faultiness of the algorithms, than it does about GOP politicians, in some form or another, the left wing overlords at TWTR, GOOG, AAPL, PYPL, FB, etc etc.... have been systematically banning conservatives for no reason, i can show you hundreds and hundreds of examples.

If you ever actually paid attention to anything other than the furthest left view points, you would see how many conservatives with legitimate mainstream view points are being deplatformed and censored by these people.

Then When you start banning words or screening by words you cast a pretty wide net.... all based on the opinion of the person who wrote the code.......

How many conservatives have been banned for expressing dissatisfaction towards illegal immigration? (This is a mainstream view point, not racism, the majority of the population in most countries including the brown ones, are against illegal immigration)

Well just this week the lefts brain child Thomas Friedman (from the new york times) expressed the exact same view as Trump when it comes to building a wall........ Does Friedman deserve to go too?

Im sure lots of nazis agree with the wall, but the whole guilt by association bullshit that the left is trying to build both with algorithms, and the frog walks they are leading on college campuses, are total bullshit.

Twitter shuts down 5,000 pro-Trump bots retweeting anti-Mueller report invective
Bots were tied to account formerly used for pro-Saudi messaging.

Why does Twitter refuse to shut down ANTIFA accounts??? Why is there no push on these platforms to shut down words associated with ANTIFA's logic?

The reason is because the overlords agree with their sentiment..... pure and simple.... And if you think that ANTIFA are any less of scumbags than the white nationalists, its because you arent paying attention.

The people in the middle who share alot of the same views, I.E. Republicans and Democrats..... Dont agree with the most extreme views of ANTIFA, or the NAZI's, but it is only one side that companies such as TWTR, GOOG, AAPL, FB, etc..... feel willing to ban willy nilly.....

Why hasnt Bernie Sanders been banned based on Antifa's views? You could literally go through his and Antifa's views and they would be word for word identical....... other than a slight NUANCE to the conversation......

This is NUANCE, which quite frankly algorithms are incapable of, at this point,( as proven by your article which claims all GOP members are nazis)

You should really read the book "Twiglight of the money Gods, Economics as a religion and how it all went wrong" It might actually teach you about the differences between the two opinions, and also give you a lesson in world history which you seem to be sorely lacking.

Antifa = Antifascist, literally the opposite of Nazis who murdered millions and started world wars. If there are thuggish antifas then they are taken care of individually, they haven't done anything else to be categorised like the Nazis.

Why would you equate the two?

And you talk about nuance? You?
