Pffft..... "Some traders........" I have absolutely no use for Twitter. I trade one product and watch the order flow. I may not know "why" it is moving but I will know it before anyone can receive and comprehend a Twitter tweet.

Giving the benefit of doubt "maybe" it would be useful for stock traders. It seems to me that it is a great vehicle for manipulation. Ichan wants to sell some APPL he tweets it is a great buy. He wants to buy he tweets he is selling. Good luck with it.

  3. Your not the only one who has no use for Twitter, every day it seem's like they are marching toward's the $20 mark. One AMAT Trader hit pay-dirt and now "Its a Game Changer of Stocks, heard that about Motley Fool with Iomega", "Yahoo Message Boards", "Silicon Trader", ect.. Have you ever tried to make sense of all the garbage spewed out by the Twits at Stocktwits?

I posted that I felt "GMCR was finally done tanking at $49, kept holding out at $50 with all the Stock Twits preaching "End of GMCR!", so fading the Twits, I covered my Short at a modest loss and got blasted by all the Twits! I got the last laugh, I bought some Calls after a few false fades and GMCR releases their Secret Weapon (I sold as fast as I saw it! It was a $400 Top Ramen maker!) after Sell Volume finally dried up. GMCR moves from $50 back to $62, released their weapon I faded in to only to tank.

Stock Tweets, Twits, ect are filled with as much value as Yahoo's old message boards were. They were loaded with Pump and Dumpers, Stock Promotion Experts and Vendors selling Boiler Room front row seats, no use for Twitter here!

Best traders don´t follow twiter, follow their own rules.
Maybe twiter can be used as a contrarian but it is very time consuming.

That's the thing; even if it were useful who has the time to read the tweets?
