This is no ordinary times... My all stocks 401k this year is going up 10% a month (with no funding, I'm retired early). It's actually the gauge I us for how well I do with my trading!

  2. The hard part about playing your cards right is there are so many cards and so many ways to play them, and only some of them are right.

I realize reading many posts here that some are really sophisticated and master the art of trading. I hope they make lots of money at it.
I don't know 1% of the verbiage and limit myself to buy stocks, sell stocks. 2 cards game. So far it's working for me...

  4. Glad to meet a TSLA bull on ET that has retired early. I presume you are a 7 figure trader but you don't trade options on TSLA but own the underlying? Nothing wrong with stock only and being super bullish on one stock... I know a lot of peeps do that. I'm always curious about early retirement from stock investing... I presume TSLA allowed you to make this jump?

Thanks but you make me more than I am. I'm retired from the 9 to 5 life with a hierarchy of bosses and reports. But my trading life started when covid took my work opportunities away and I have to thank the pandemic for that.
I started trading with 6 figures in March and about to upgrade to 7 figures, thanks in great part to Tesla which now represents almost 90% of my returns. It wasn't much of a choice really, it's just that no one compares.
Frankly I just trade stocks because I don't know how to trade options which seem even closer to gambling than what I'm doing staring at a chart making a mix of intuitive and educated guesses about where the next minute will take me. I'm fully aware that Tesla is a difficult stock to screw up on at this time. But if I can replicate this year for another 3 or 4, then I will really retire. Don't need 8 figures.
