Yep nothing is wrong with this picture.. move along move along move along..... Whats even insane is that Walmart has a recorded $500,000,000,000 more in revenue than tesla. The relative valuation of Tesla to Walmart is astounding when considering the financial profiles of both companies. In its latest fiscal year, Walmart recorded $500 billion more in revenue than Tesla. But in a world of near-zero interest rates, growth is scarce, and investors are willing to pay up for it. Case in point: Tesla featured a price-earnings multiple of 1030x as of Thursday https://markets.businessinsider.com...t-valued-sp500-us-companies-2020-8-1029524035
you're not pricing in the fact that tesla will make every mode of transportation from now until 200 years from now. notsrs
S2000, why do you keep fighting it? It is the wave of the future! Like how we should not fight the Fed! BUY BUY BUY!
Ohhhhh I forget these 200 year out future predictions is what warrants a valuation worthy of non stop one directional moves.
Only cause the Fed is literally buying TSLA shares to pump up the market and in doing so giving Elon 8Bil recently I think it was. * * is TSLA part of any index worth pumping up??
Let's completely strip out the government credits it gives tesla, the sales incentives that have boosted its sales to.500,000 units a year and the sale of carbon emissions credits to other automakers . These 2 pieces alone if substracted from tesla would still have tesla trading under $100.
It's based on Future potential, it's a premium your paying on the basis TSLA could be the next FORD only better, obviously FORD is old, so no premium. Its a sucky shit system, but as we all try to make money from it here, guess partially our fault for enabling it.
