  1. So no more tariffs on China for the moment and Huawei gets what it wants...and we supposedly came out ahead on this?

Tariffs stays the same. China agreed to buy US farmer product. US agreed to sell products to Huawei again.
    It's a clear win win.

  4. This is what is reported:

    • The two leaders agreed to hold off on new tariffs and to proceed with trade negotiations after a series of escalations to their nations’ tariff battle threatened to disrupt the global economy.
    • Trump suggested he will be reversing his government’s decision to ban American companies from selling products to Chinese tech giant Huawei.
So the parties agreed to proceed with trade negotiations, not a win because nothing was agreed upon yet and they have been working on negotiations still anyway.

Trump agreed to give in on something he did not need to.

So we agreed to keep on negotiating like before with current tariffs and then give a major concession to China.

It is a Win-Win as China won on both accounts. Got U.S. to not add more tariffs and give Huawei more technology access.

China appears to be the winner of the Trump-Xi meeting at G-20, experts say

    • U.S. President Donald Trump has touted his “far better than expected” meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the G-20 summit in Japan, but experts say that Beijing appears to have gained an upper hand in the trade war.
    • Trump said after his meeting with Xi that Huawei will be allowed to purchase U.S. products — suggesting a softening in Washington’s blacklist of the Chinese tech firm.
    • But back in Washington and Beijing, both governments appear to be treading Trump’s Huawei announcement with caution.
