TradeStation Securities Announces New Lower Commissions

    sorry if this is a dumb question, but what is this:

    "The SEC charges a fee of 1/300 of 1% of the total dollar amount of securities sold. "

    from the fees tab on your website?

    It's the fee charged by the SEC to fund their operating budget. Everyone gets charged the fee when you sell a stock. Some brokers include it in their commissions so you don't see it and others add the charge.

  7. doesn't sound like much. daytraders pay a ton each year. way out of proportion to what we ask of the SEC.

    I've talked to my account representative and a few other support folks at TS.

    Everyone says it will be in TS7, however no one will tell me when it will be out?

    Any ideas?

  9. Discussion about TS7 have started over one yar ago. Probably that one of these day this version will a be available.

    I am using TS 6, very happy with platform, data and outstanding service. Best all the way, can't do without it.
