+$603 All trades completed by 11:40am (oh so sadly). After returning from a long lunch to catch some closing action, I found I missed a good week's pay worth of action. Now that I'm actually trading CL, my "no trades after 11:30" rule is over; that thing moves even when it doesn't! Today the market smacked me again over the downfall of picking and choosing trades instead of taking all good setups. Had some scratch trades on CL, then hesitated on a decent setup after the news and missed getting a good chunk of a 77 tick move. Then I took a not-as-good setup and did manage to exit almost at the pivot low of the move. The place I exited was a perfect long signal and I hesitated there, too, (thinking how it was after 11:30 and I should take a break) and missed another chunk of 70+ ticks! Scratched a couple AMZN trades, then finally caught a move with regular size, too. No complaints. Shorted POT even though I was absolutely certain it was too low to be shorting at these levels, (but it was a good setup); small size and a whopping $32 at risk, and it was my best trade of the morning

-700 Horrible day today...shorted POT in the morning.. I was up 200$ on the trade. I went to cover and the stock sky rocketed before the energy news (I was unaware POT would be affected by it). Ended up covering after it had runup almost a dollar. Bought on the dip (long) and then it crashed again.... Then I shorted it later in the day. Perfect setup..had 500 shares. Made some money but I covered when the huge buy came up for a million shares... I think it was inside activity but for some reason the stock plummited almost a dollar after that trade..... Poor timing all day I hope I never see a day like this ever again!
didn't get a chance to post yesterday, but -$850... taking out all the profit I've built up in the last 8 days. -$70 overall
