Atleast Toure is honest about his total disbeleif in personal responsibility, most liberals give it lip service and then make every excuse in the book as to why such a large ssegment of the black population just cant seem to stay out of jail.



Touré Corrects Obama: ‘Structural Racism,’ Not Personal Responsibility, to Blame for Black Issues

MSNBC host Touré tore into President Barack Obama over his announcement on Thursday of a program to address disproportional rates of poverty and crime among African-American youth. The MSNBC host insisted that Obama was misguided to focus on the family and “personal responsibility” as ways to address those issues. He insisted “structural racism” was to blame for crime and poverty in the African-American community.

Touré began by praising the president for speaking to black youths in a way “only a black president could.” However, he said he was “depressed” by Obama’s outreach because even he would be unable to address many of the problems facing the black community.

“But when the president speaks to the black community, there’s often a dive into the politics of personal responsibility,” he continued. “I cringe at that, as if effort and excuses have been the problem.”

“No,” Touré asserted. “It’s been structural racism.”

“The accumulated impact of historic discrimination and the advantages of white privilege and the systems perpetuate all that,” he continued. “Going into personal responsibility suggests you can make it if you try, and he knows it’s more complex than that.”

“I want our president this president, to tell America to tear down the American Berlin Wall that keeps black men separated from opportunity,” Touré concluded. “That sort of big brother-in-chief would get us closer to the mountain top.”

Toure is a complete idiot! Where to start .... let's go with the fact that 72% of black kids have just a single parent in the home. Compare that with 25% nationally and that's 3 times as high. Any wonder why black kids get in so much trouble?

A study conducted by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development found that 25.8 percent of American children are raised by a single parent, a number high above the 14.9 percent average seen in the other 26 countries surveyed. Among African-Americans the rate nearly tripled, with 72 percent of black children relying on a single parent.

And with white kids it's around 20% who live with a single parent.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see the correlation between bad choices, crime & jail and being a black kid with no father around. Yet this idiot claims personal responsibility isn't a big issue here. I see it 3 days per week when I volunteer with poor kids. Amazing that almost all of the behavior problems are with the black kids.

We really don't need this new Obama program. Rather, we need blacks to either (1) be committed and get married if you're gonna have kids or (2) quit knocking up someone and then run off like a coward when the kid is born.

Last, he suggested that against such odds the chance of making it out of the ghetto are almost nil. Bullshit. I know of 2 local girls who got $500K and $630K in college scholarships ... both were black and both lived in very high poverty neighborhoods. And I have kids this year who actually skip recess to do extra math with me .. very few of them, but some are motivated to escape the pathetic life they've been brought into by irresponsible parents. The biggest problem lies in the home with the parents (or lack thereof).

 

Correct. And I'll say one of my favorite guys to hear speak is Dr. Ben Carson, MD. He's always on point, and is always able to point out idiocy. I watched a movie about him with Cuba Gooding Jr called "gifted hands," and it was a GREAT movie. Yes, he's black, and the show was on black entertainment television. I'll say, I despise that racist tv network, but the movie was worth seeing. Sadly, he's a true rarity in the black community. He's a rarity who didn't blame others, nor demanded handouts over skin color. He became quite wealthy by working smart, having a can do attitude, and refusing to fall for the racists (blacks) hating whitey, and using that as an excuse to stay down, and be bad.

And yes, he told Onazi to his face that his healthcare "plan" was a nightmare, and a farce. Love the guy!!

 

This is why I stopped listening to liberals a long time ago. They mean the black community no good.

Correct. And sadly, the black community is too stupid to figure out that they're right back in slavery via THEIR OWN VOTING via democraps. And yes, democrats were the same ones with the bull whips back when. A normal person would 'think' blacks wouldn't vote for a dem if their life depended on it, but no...

The Vietnam Veteran I ran into recently who wears his ball hat on straight, and speaks common sense, and votes repub is chastised by his own people who call him Uncle Tom. His Son speaks common sense, and is also called Uncle Tom. Hmmmm... The black community has a disease I call "crabs in the bucket." A good one wants to climb out of the mystery THEY created (not whitey!), and the other "crabs" try to grab him, and pull him back down...

 

True, and the bigger wall is black leadership itself who have sold out their "brothers" for profit. Add leftists, who with malice and intent, have kept blacks on an urban plantation just to have something to talk about on the campaign trail, and we see the systematic destruction of an entire race of people. One of the greatest crimes against humanity that has ever been perpetrated.
