  1. Check out the speech by Reagan - #25 on the list. He was impressive speaker back then, although he was wrong on Vietnam, it was a damn good speech, makes me want to vote for Goldwater.

That 1964 speech by Reagan made while stumping for Goldwater was a good one. But Reagan was a politician like all, well, politicians. Just as Socialists are full of shit in telling us what is good for us, Reagan was full of shit as well. He blew the biggest hole in the federal budget that we had ever had at the time, even though he preached fiscal conservatism. He founded government beauracracy himself when he ordered the creation of the Working Group on Financial Markets. And while all Reaganophiles love to talk about his 1981 tax cuts, no of them seem aware that he raised taxes in 1987. They are all politicians, regardless of how well they speak or what party they belong to.

  3. I agree with you, I was just impressed with his speaking skill in that speech. You could tell from the content of his speech and what he did as president there was a lot of bull in it, but bull delivered damn well.

  4. I HAVE A DREAM BY THE LATE DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING.

  5. If they made a list of the bottom 100 political speeches, pinhead GW Bush would fill darn near every spot...
