Between January and December last year, the median home sale price on that Sagaponack lane was $15 million, a number that eclipsed sales on other famously exclusive Hamptons streets. Want to join the Parsonage party? You’re in luck, as there are currently two estates on the market. The larger listing sprawls across 7½ acres of land at 232 Parsonage Lane, surrounded by colorful strips of protected farms (ensuring its scenic views won’t be blocked by new construction). “You can’t see it from the street,” says Beate Moore of Sotheby’s International Realty, who is marketing the property for $29.9 million. “It has a long driveway and the yard looks like a Mark Rothko painting, with large color planes.” The property boasts 12 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms spread over 9,353 square feet of living space, all curated by interior designer Alexa Hampton. A two-bedroom carriage house, an oversize pool, a two-bedroom pool house, a decadent spa and a scenic, 250-year-old barn round out the grounds. Meanwhile, just down the street at 515 Parsonage Lane, an 11,760-square-foot, seven-bedroom, 10-bathroom mansion is asking $10.9 million with Brown Harris Stevens. The sprawling playpen includes seven fireplaces, a chef’s kitchen, an oak-paneled library, a home theater, a wine cellar, a tasting room, a saltwater pool and a tennis court. If you can’t snag a Parsonage trophy, Moore suggests exploring the whole of south Sagaponack. (The area boasted the wealthiest zip code in the nation in 2016, according to Business Insider.) “It’s one of the last places in the Hamptons where you can still get lots of open space,” she says.
